Here are the Average Sales Prices for surrounding towns in Faifield County
New Canaan is a very nice town in Fairfield County. It is popular for many reasons, great schools, great location, and it is the quintessential New England town, except in New Canaan there is much more than the country store. New Canaan is unique from some of its neighboring towns because in New Canaan you can stroll down the streets, window shop and grab a coffe while on the go. Not all Fairfield County towns are as walkable in town.
This month I thought we could explore some more unique architecture in Fairfield County. The Glass House was built in 1949 by Philip Johnson. Also know as the Johnson House, the Glass House was Philip Johnson's weekend get away for 58 years. He and his partner David Whitney were enthusiastic art collecters and you can see their collection at the Glass House today. The Glass House is now a museum, where you can visit and take a tour of the 47 acre property with its 14 architectual structures. It is also available for rent. What a unique venue for any party, whether it be a private function or a corporate event.
